First Encounter with king:\u00a0 I just hoped I was in the right room.\u00a0 Coming from two years of Community College, Organizational Theory was one of the first classes I took at Providence College.\u00a0 To call me nervous was an understatement.<\/p>\n
“Hey, is this the right room?<\/em>” a voice asked behind me.<\/p>\n Turning, I stared at the tall, imposing man standing behind me.\u00a0 My mind raced.\u00a0 What was I supposed to say?\u00a0 I didn’t know! What class was this?\u00a0 Was this a test?\u00a0 Was I failing already?<\/p>\n Finally, I looked at my roster and he looked at his – and it was determined that this was indeed the right classroom for both of us.\u00a0 Ahh, relief set in, but not for long.<\/p>\n Picking up one of the course syllabuses, I began flipping through the pages.\u00a0 What the hell was this?\u00a0 Where were the breakdowns?\u00a0 I scoured the pages, searching for anything to latch onto.\u00a0 Reading assignments, dates for quizzes and tests, all I saw was the phrase ‘Become a Team’.\u00a0 My heart sank.\u00a0 How could I get an A if I didn’t know what it would take to get an A?
